Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone is spending the day in the kitchen, around the dinner table, taking a nap on the couch and then watching some football. Me? I’m in charge of the entire Thanksgiving meal this year! The “bad” news: It’s my first time… The “good” news: It’s only for my parents and I so it will be a small meal, though I want plenty of leftovers so I’m cooking for 15 🙂 I’ll happily eat rolls and stuffing until Christmas.
After a long day of cooking and eating I’ll be watching my favorite Christmas movie, Miracle on 34th Street. I’ll watch that movie about 7 times before Christmas! And every time I watch it, it gets better.
What am I thankful for? I’m thankful for my wonderful family. Even though we’re spread out across the country this holiday, I’m happy that I can always text, call, email and Skype! I’m also thankful for the gospel and for this video I watch almost every Sunday that helps keep life in perspective. And don’t forget you, I am thankful for YOU! If you stop by Your Cup of Cake for only one recipe or if you’re a faithful weekly reader, you have made this entire dream possible. So I thank you for your love of food! Get ready for about 20 dessert recipes coming your way before Christmas!
What are you thankful for?

Happy Thanksgiving! I know you will cook a delicious meal. Many years ago, I had to cook my first Thanksgiving dinner for my family. I was very nervous, but it was great. This is the first year I am not cooking a traditional meal. Hubby and I are having pizza, maybe. I have to work today, but at least I am home. Have a wonderful day and God Bless You!

I am VERY thankful that I feel so good. I started dialysis last Febuary and I wasn’t feeling very good then. The treatment is a time-consuming inconvenience, but has restored my energy and I can do so many things now! I am sharing the Thanksgiving cooking duties with my son-in-law. He is doing the turkey and sides and I am in charge of the stuffing and desserts. Yum!
I really enjoy your blog and all the recipes. Happy Thanksgiving to you!

I’m thankful that I have another day above ground.LOL But really all kidding aside I am thankful that my mother is still with us another Thanksgiving. She is in a home but today I will be spending this evening with her to celebrate her life. I do this every holiday for the past six years. She is the glue that has held this family together and she is the person who taught me to bake at the young age of six. So every one out there if your parents are still with you give them a big hug and tell them you are very thankful they gave you life. Tell them how much you love them. Happy Thanksgiving Lizzy and have a wonderful day with your parents. Paulette

The “good” news is that it’s only my parents and I, so the dinner won’t have to be too big; however, I’m planning on having plenty of dordle leftovers, so I’m really preparing for 15. Before Christmas, I had no problem subsisting on rolls and stuffing.

Happy Thanksgiving! I will be going to my daughter’s today with 20 other people. She lovelingly calls it Friendsgiving. I have made my dessert, cranberry mold and deviled eggs, so I am ready. I also baked 16 dozen cupcakes for friends for their Thanksgiving dinners……sold all but 11 cupcakes, which I will take to my daughters. I have bought several cupcake cookbooks in the last two years, but yours is the best! I am very thankful for having found your book on Amazon.com! I look forward to many more great recipes! May God bless your family on this Thanksgiving Day!

I’m thankful my husband of 31 years is cooking dinner and that he’s making my favorite stuffing. Formally called Miles Standish stuffing but known to all our family as pizza stuffing! Delish!
Have a blessed holiday.

We Canadians had our “Turkey Day” in early October! But I am thankful – every day – for my hubby and family & our good health. And all your wonderful recipes! Looking forward to adding your second cookbook to my collection!

I am grateful for life, for the opportunity to see and hear this world, for the opportunity to learn and learn a lot of new things. And also for grateful that someone once came up with writing services for students.

You just read my thoughts and described them. By the way, I also thought about writing service. I was very much rescued by the specialists of writing from Writing Judge. I am grateful to them for not being expelled from the university. I also want to thank my family for always supporting me in all my ideas and new things. I will always be grateful to them, not just on Thanksgiving.
