  1. I’ll be spending Christmas day with my family in Lebanon County, PA. But the days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve will be spent at a my friend’s house in Charleston, SC. It is the best of everything. A Northern Christmas a Southern Holiday and great food everywhere.

We’re flying to North Carolina to see his family and being back in the states will be bittersweet for the holidays 🙂 We even get to meet a new addition to the family! I’ll be doing a lot of baking I’m sure 😉

  6. I will be heading up to Wisconsin and I think I may get frostbite and/or get buried by an avalanche. I’m terrible enough with the cold in Boston so somewhere even colder may just end me haha.

  8. I can’t wait for the holidays. We spend Christmas Eve at my brother’s place with about 25 people all sharing amazing food and playing festive games. Then we have Christmas morning enjoying eggs benedict and mimosa while the kids open their gifts from Santa. Following that, everyone is over to our place for a Christmas feast. I can’t wait. I will be wearing my stretchy pants to make sure I can eat lots of goodies 😀

  10. Will be spending the holidays at home with family. Will be having our annual Bake Day with friends where wer bake a TON and swap away. Nicer than a typical cookie swap as it means a bigger variety of goodies.

  11. We will be headed up to Idaho for Thanksgiving, but staying in Utah for Christmas. Nothing incredibly exciting, but we’re looking forward to it.

Because my husband & I do not live near our families and find it uneconomical to travel at the holidays, we’ve created our own tradition of taking our camping trailer to Red Cliffs State Park near St. George, Utah. We hike all day amongst the red rocks and then make the non-traditional dinner of roast pork, mashed potatoes and tossed salad with pomegranate. The eggnog cranberry bread will be a welcome new addition with chocolate candy cane truffles (truffles are his favorite) as an after dinner treat!

  14. My husband and I will be spending a romantic Christmas as Alyeska Ski Resort in Alaska. This will be the first time we’ve spent Christmas together without family. We are very excited.

  15. Ill be right here at home with a feral cat I just adopted. However I always bake up lots of goodies to give away to friends and family!

I miss home very much. We always have so much fun because there will be different type of food like Hawaiian food, Filipino Food, Soul food, turkey, Ham, different desert, fellowship one another, the kids will show their talent by singing, playing instrument, dance or anything that want to show their talent.   119. I will be spending the holidays in the Atlantic Ocean, making good on a promise made years ago to my son.

    Nine years ago today, my daughter died from brain cancer. She’d been planning her wish trip – a cruise. Needless to say, when she died, my son and I did not go on the trip. I have carried a huge amount of sadness over the fact that he not only lost his sister, but he lost the cruise he (as a kid) was looking forward to, too!

    So we sail on Christmas, and the only question is to return my daughter’s ashes to the sea she loved so much or not?
