2 Ingredient Cheesecake Fruit Dip
The only thing that makes fresh fruit even better, is fruit dip! This 2 ingredient cheesecake fruit dip is just what you’re strawberries and apples have been asking for! It’s fluffy, sweet, and almost too easy to make!
I must admit, I never really understood the whole fruit dip thing. I always saw this bowl of white stuff next to the fruit platters at parties growing up but I never tried it. A standard fruit dip uses marshmallow and cream cheese which can yield a really lumpy or runny dip which takes over your picnic plate. But this stuff is thick and fluffy and stays in it’s place. I made a similar dips few weeks ago, my Key Lime Pie Fruit Dip.
The 2 ingredients you need? Instant pudding mix and whipping cream! Now, I’ve been using this as a light frosting for years! You can use all the different varieties of instant pudding mix, for the chocolate I made my Chocolate Pudding Mix Frosting Cupcakes and with the banana I made my Chocolate Banana Cream Pie Cupcakes! The choices are limitless and it’s a great option when you need a fast frosting or for those picky eaters who say they don’t like frosting.
I sprinkled a little crushed graham crackers around the bowl to add a little color but you don’t need it! I prefer the taste of the fruit dip without it, so maybe you ran rime the bowl with strawberries instead to bring color to the dip.
I kept trying to take photos and then accidentally eating the berries–whoops! It was just instinct. If there’s something delicious in my hand I am going to eat it…
2 Ingredient Cheesecake Fruit Dip
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Cheesecake flavored instant pudding
- 3 C. heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- 1. Using the whisk attachment on your KitchenAid or with handheld beaters, beat the pudding mix and whipping cream until stiff.
- 2. Enjoy! Yeah, it's really that easy 🙂
