The Short Story:
I will be publishing a cook book! In stores Spring of 2013…

The Long Story:
A few months ago I got an email. It said something to the extent of…Hello Lizzy, have you ever thought about publishing a cook book? Let me know and give me a call.
Well, needless to say I called right away. We set up a meeting with the publishing company, talked content & layout, and signed the big contract. So for the last month I have been home in Oregon baking up a storm every day.  I will be taking all of the photos and the book will have tons of new recipes that will not be on the website.  Next Spring is a little ways off, but I just HAD to let you all know the news.

  10. Congratulations!! I can’t wait to see. Is it going to be mostly on cupcakes or there are other baked goods also? Which book store is going carry them?

    I found your blog almost a year ago and i absolutely love it! i am 12 years old (13 on the 3rd of june) and cupcakes are my absolute passion i love to make them and make up new ideas. I am really thrilled that you are making a book! I live in England and i was wondering if it would be available there?

  12. Lizzie that’s GREAT! You’re my not so secret weapon and I love everything that I’ve tried from your site! Pretty please come up with a Creme Brulee Cupcake recipe for the book! I’ll buy it for sure!

  14. Cupcakes for this first book. A lot of the big stores will carry it, but it just depends on your region and things like that. But Amazon should have it no problem 🙂

  33. So excited to hear the great news! Not only are your cupcakes beautiful to look at, they taste wonderful too! I am new to your site but have already used several of your recipes. What I really love is that your cake and frosting recipes are easy to to mix and match. My three sons ages 17, 14, and 11 love to help in the kitchen when I use one of your recipes. Boys are not always that anxious to hang out with their Moms so it’s been wonderful to share this with them. I always get a lot of extra hugs and even kisses!

  36. Hee hee – I have done the same thing! I have also had to print out multiple copies of my favs ’cause I don’t want to take the time to sift through all of those pages. A book with all of them in one place will be fabulous!
