The Story:
If you couldn’t tell, I have been on a big kid-kick lately, making cupcakes that bring out the crayon-loving, plaster-eating and Sunny-D kid in all of us. These cupcakes finish off the theme, then maybe I will get back to more glamorous and grown up cupcakes. Maybe…

Hi Lizzy, I love all of your cupcake recipes they are sooo yummy. I was just wondering how finely chopped were the cookies you used in the batter? Are they cut up the same way as the ones used on top? Can’t wait to try these! Thanks!!!
Lizzy Mae Early says
Good question! I chopped them up a little smaller than the ones on top. Plus, they start falling apart as they hit the batter. You don’t want HUGE chunks in your batter, but it gives it nice texture when it bakes.

Absolutely love the whimsical twist on these cupcakes. The Keebler addition is genius and they turned out moist and flavorful. Can not wait to whip up another batch for my inner kid.
