Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
2 ½ cups flour
1 ½ cup sugar
¾ teaspoon baking powder
¾ teaspoon baking soda
¾ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
3 eggs
¼ cup brown sugar
½ can pumpkin (14 ½ oz)
½ cup applesauce
1 ½ cup chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and brown sugar together. Add pumpkin and applesauce.
4. Mix dry and wet ingredients together on until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
5. Spoon batter into muffin liners or greased muffin tins. Bake for 20-27 minutes.




yum these look SO good!!! i tried making pumpkin muffins before….didn’t go so well. but this looks like a pretty fool-proof recipe!
my grandma makes these, with out apple sauce tho… and they are the best things ive ever tasted (:
