Sweet, salty and ADDICTIVE! This Honey Mustard Chex Mix is perfect for munching on all day long and will be a new family favorite!

Sweet and Salty Honey Mustard Chex Mix
My husband’s family is BIG on Chex Mix. They make it for every family gathering and it disappears. So of course I had to start playing around with flavors and recipes to make a few new fun kinds. This Honey Mustard Chex Mix is sooo good. I love honey mustard anything, so I’m definitely in love with this.

Chex Mix Love
You’ll notice in the ingredients I used Melba Toast. This is totally optional, you can substitute it for more Chex cereal if you want. But I was looking for something that would really soak up the flavors and Melba is perfect for that! It’s dry and super crunchy and ready for flavors!! You can find it in the cracker aisle at any grocery store. It’s in the bottom left of the bowl if you’re wondering what it looks like in here. I just cracked the pieces so they were smaller and mixed them right in.

Okay, this photo is a tad misleading because I mixed up this sauce and then poured it for this photo 30 minutes later after I had put my baby Stella down for a nap. So the melted butter cooled and thickened the sauce. When you make it, it will be much runnier and also easier to mix in.

Sweet and Salty Game Day Snack
With the Super Bowl coming up, you’ll need to make a big batch of this Chex Mix! It’s great for game day because you can make it the night before! One less thing to worry about when the day rolls around and friends start coming over. Just put this out with the chips and dip and watch it disappear! If you want to get extra cute, you can serve it in little cupcake liners! Or take it one step farther and make the cupcake liners your team color!

Enjoy!!
