Cute Garden Carrot Cupcakes for Easter

Cute Garden Carrot Cupcakes made with strawberries that look like carrots! SO cute!

Strawberries dipped in chocolate to look like carrots! These Cute Garden Carrot Cupcakes baked in mason jars are the most adorable cupcakes you’ll see this spring! I crushed up some Oreos to make the “dirt” and since they’re baked in a jar they’re perfect for an outdoor party! Cute Garden Carrot Cupcakes!

Garden Carrot Cupcakes make with strawberries and Oreos! Perfect for Spring and Easter!

Cute Garden Carrot Cupcakes

Spring is coming! Okay, I saw that and it snowed yesterday in Utah but spring really is just around the corner and want to be ready for all the bridal showers and picnics with some cute desserts!  These cakes are perfect because they’re a little bigger than a cupcake (which is a perfect serving size) and they’re easy to eat with a fork or spoon!  Eating on a picnic blanket can be tricky enough… don’t give me a dessert that takes an hour to eat! Plus those strawberries, they look so cute! Just like a carrot getting pulled out of the ground.

You’ll need a bag of orange chocolate candy melts to dip your strawberries in! I Dipped mine, let them cool and then drizzled a little extra to give them that perfect carrot look!  When I first saw this idea on Something Swanky last year I knew I wanted to do my own take.  So I added the mason jars and the Oreos to make it my own 🙂

Enjoy my Cute Garden Carrot Cupcakes for Easter or any springtime party!

Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Carrots, ADORABLE!

This was my first time baking cakes in mason jars!  But they turned out so cute! I just piped a circle of frosting on and then covered it with crushed Oreos.  I nestled the chocolate dipped strawberry into the hole in the middle and then it was done! Super easy to make for a super cute cupcake!  These really are so perfect for Spring!

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line pans with cupcake liners or grease small mason jars and place on a cookie sheet.
  • 2. Sift cake mix into a large bowl to remove any lumps and add remaining "cake" ingredients. Stir until smooth.

  1. These cupcakes are so smart and refined that it’s criminal to eat and destroy them .
On the other side, they look so delicious that I’ll probably be able to be a cupcake killer: )

  7. These are just adorable! I was just wondering if you are going to have a givaway soon… 🙂

  8. These where not good and the candy melts do not go with the flavour of the strawberry. They looked nice but the taste was horrid. ( I got the exact packet of candy melts, in date etc) wouldn’t reccomend to make

  9. What size mason jars did you use. I have small ones but they seem smaller than what you used and my next larger size doesn’t have straight sides. Thanks

  10. Sophia, that’s not nice to say. Even if they weren’t good, you should’ve kept that comment to yourself.

  11. There’s nothing wrong with what Sophia said Hannah, it’s her opinion. I personally would’ve used melted white chocolate colored w/ orange food coloring instead of the candy melts. Is my comment “not nice” too?

  12. There is a tremendous monetary effect in remain at home cooking. Some positive (saving money on childcare), and some negative (lost pay, lost work understanding, lost chance to assemble status, abilities are not stayed up with the latest, less cash put into scholarships and tuition and other retirement reserves). It likewise has tremendous human expense by method for diminishing the cake baking grown-up associations, loss of quest for advantages, and diminished capacity to leave an unfortunate relationship, in addition to the disgrace that you truly aren’t doing anything throughout the day.

  13. Well you know, I don’t consume any sugar since a year because of my allergy… But these cupcackes would give no chances to my sugar-resistence. I really love them 🙂

Those carrot cupcakes are absolutely adorable! What a creative idea to bake them in mason jars and top them with chocolate-covered strawberry carrots. The Oreo “dirt” is a perfect touch! They really do look like little garden scenes. This gives me an idea for a fun twist – maybe next time I’ll try a lemon cupcake and create an Eggy Car themed garden with some yellow frosting “roads”! They’re perfect for spring celebrations.
